What is Grit? How can I be grittier? The Center for Academic Success (CfAS) has created a workshop about Grit and how it can be applied to students on the Pre-Health track.

In this workshop students will learn about how Grit is consistently measured as a trait that highly successful people possess. Students will leave the workshop with concrete strategies that will help them throughout their collegiate career and beyond.

The following are expectations for participants in this program.

Workshop Expectations

  1. Be on time. Sessions are about 50 minutes in length.
  2. Come prepared to share. A goal of this workshop is to not only learn from the facilitators, but to also learn from your peers. This session is meant to be interactive and we want to hear what you have to say. This is a judgment-free zone!
  3. Be respectful. Please actively listen to others’ perspectives with an open mind.
  4. Be responsible. Please be mindful that once you register for a workshop at the Center for Academic Success, you are reserving a place that no other student can take.

On the registration page, select the set you want or have been assigned.

You will be dropped if you do not attend the first session.
