The Center for Academic Success (CfAS) has created a new workshop catered to Pre-Health students who wish to improve their time management skills. In addition to time management, this 50-minute session will explore the relationship between setting SMART goals and achieving success as a Pre-Health student.
Throughout the session, students will learn about specific time management techniques that they can implement in their daily and weekly routines. Students will also increase their knowledge regarding the connection between prioritizing, goal setting, and time management. This workshop will be facilitated by Reading and Learning Tutors who have a great amount of experience discussing time management with students.
The following are expectations for participants in this program
- Be on time. Sessions are about 50 minutes in length.
- Come prepared to share. A goal of this workshop is to not only learn from the facilitators, but to also learn from your peers. This session is meant to be interactive and we want to hear what you have to say. This is a judgment-free zone!
- Be respectful. Please actively listen to others’ perspectives with an open mind.
- Be responsible. Please be mindful that once you register for a workshop at the Center for Academic Success, you are reserving a place that no other student can take.
